Membership & Donations
The important work of preserving the Lincoln Collection and making it accessible to the public is supported in major part by tax-deductible gifts.
The preservation and ongoing digitization of Lincoln documents at the Allen County Public Library, for example, has been made possible through financial support from an endowment built by contributions from businesses, government, and individuals throughout the state to the Friends of the Lincoln Collection in Indiana, Inc. A new gallery at the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites was made possible by that same endowment.
Now the Friends organization is poised to expand use of the collection as well as expand related programs and educational opportunities. Your contributions can make this possible.
Basic “membership” in the Friends starts at just $50 annually, for which members receive hard copies of each Lincoln Lore publication, plus early notice and special reserved seating at the Friends’ public events, as well as reports and periodic consultations over what initiatives the Friends might pursue.
If at all possible, we hope you will add a donation to your membership fee and join the many others whose support is accelerating the Friends’ new outreach programs. We will acknowledge your generous donations in Lincoln Lore and in the programs distributed at Friends’ events. Thank you!
