History Speaks – Highlights from the Lincoln Collection
History Speaks – Highlights from the Lincoln Collection
July 9-September 2
Allen County Public Library (Main Library)
Jeffrey R. Krull Gallery
Open during library hours
Highlights from the Lincoln Collection will be on display in this very special exhibit in the Krull Gallery at the Allen County Public Library. This collection is open to the public, free of charge, and can be viewed during regular library hours.
When the Lincoln Museum closed in 2008, the collection was gifted to the State of Indiana to be housed at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis and the downtown Allen County Public Library, under the umbrella of the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection. The Indiana State Museum received the three-dimensional objects and the Allen County Public Library has the papers, books, photographs and other reference materials which are being digitized on site.
